Slow Motion

 

Description of project:

A short film that exampled slow motion using different frame rates and comparing each of the clips to both the real-time effect and the other frame rates.

Project standards:

Standard 2: Demonstrate the use of basic equipment, software and technology to create a video production.

• Target 5: Demonstrate how to safely and responsibly use all equipment

• Target 8: Demonstrate camera operations for a production

Standard 4: Exhibit ability to edit a video production.

• Target 10: Demonstrate knowledge of basic non-linear editing

What did I do?:

Filmed multiple clips of a person throwing a frisbee and in three different frame rates.

What did I learn?:

How to film and edit in different frame rates and slowing them down in Premiere.

What were the results?:

A short film of different frame rates, comparing them when slowed down by 50%.
